In Q1-Q3 2022 the number of M&A deals in the region grew while the aggregate value dropped.

In Q3 2022 M&A activity in Latin America & the Caribbean region kept cooling down with the number of transactions falling 10% q-o-q to 457 deals. The combined value, however, was up 25.6% q-o-q to USD 27.2bn, reversing a one year-long downward trend.
