KESH (Korporata Elektroenergjetika Shqiptare) is Albania's state-owned power monopoly established in 1957. KESH comprises a nationwide system of power plants and power girds united by a common production process, and a centralised dispatch/control system. The company, together with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the generation, dispatching, transmission, and sales of electricity. The company's plants are producing over 16 million kWhs per day.
