Converse Bank Armenia CJSC (Armenia)

Converse Bank CJSC was founded in 1993 on the basis of the North-Armenian Mutual Bank. As part of the financing of the project Development of small and medium-sized businesses in Armenia, the bank is involved in the loan programs of the World Bank and Lincy Foundation, also involved in the programs of the World Bank Agricultural Reform and of the US Agricultural Department in the financing of the project Promotion of marketing. In 2003 Converse Bank CJSC and USAID have signed a bilateral agreement on credit guarantees for small and medium businesses. The Bank is a shareholder of the Yerevan Stock Exchange, a member of the Union of Banks of Armenia, since 1998 it is a shareholder of Artsakh Bank CJSC and Armincassation CJSC. The Bank is the official agent of the Ministry of Finance and Central Bank to conduct operations with short-term government bonds. Also has a license to implement the purchase and sale of precious stones.
