Banks Holdings Limited was founded in 1991 when Banks Breweries acquired the Barbados Bottling Company Limited and it was formed as the parent company effecting the acquisition. Later in 1994 acquires the Barbados Shipping and Trading limited, in 1997 bought Pine Hill Dairy and finally in 2002 built the Orange Mall. It is a holding company with subsidiaries engaged in the manufacturing, market and sales of juices, juice drinks, beers, carbonated beverages, fresh milk and cultured products including yogurt, ice cream, sour cream and cottage cheese. In its beverages include international brands produced under license such as Coca-Cola, Sprite and Guinness.
