The Company's principal activities are manufacture and supply of industrial and medical gases, anesthesia, welding equipments and products and ancillary equipments.
The Company also earns rental from cylinders used by the customers and from vacuum insulated evaporators installed at customers' premises and listed Company limited by shares.

History:
1973 :The Company was incorporated in Bangladesh in 1973 under the Companies Act, 1913.
1976:The Company was listed on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in 1976
1995: The Company changed its name to (BOC Bangladesh Limited) in March, 1995 in line with a world-wide programme of the BOC Group
1996: The Company was listed on Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) on June 22, 1996.
2011: The Company changed its name to Linde Bangladesh Limited on December 18, 2011.
2023:The Company underwent with a demerger of its Hardgoods Business. The Hardgoods Business has been transferred to the resulting company, LIPL. The effective date of the demerger is 1 January 2023, as per the order from the Honorable High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh dated 14 August 2023.
