History:
1998: The Company was incorporated in Bangladesh on 26 November 1998 as a Private Company limited by shares under the Companies Act, 1994.
2000: The Company started its commercial production on 12 November 2000
2004:The commercial production of its new sanitary ware plant, expansion unit of ceramics facilities was started on 10 January 2004 1 July 2004 4
2007:The commercial production of its new tiles plant was started on 1 September 2007
2008: The Company was later converted from a Private Limited into a Public Limited on 10 June 2008 after observance of required formalities as per laws.
2009: The Company changed its name from RAK CERAMICS (BANGLADESH) PVT. LIMITED to RAK CERAMICS (BANGLADESH) LIMITED on 11 February 2009.
2010: The Company was listed on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) on 13 June 2010.
2015: The commercial production of its new sanitary plant was started on 1 April 2015.
