Storko EOOD was incorporated in 2006 by a local entrepreneur - Ralitsa Dobreva. A few months after its establishment, the company acquired local Lines Holding from Bulgaria's food and beverage holding BBB Group. Lines Holding purchased the production assets of local Storko cannery from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in April 2003, together with Turkish frozen and canned food producer Penguen Gida.
