Videolux, which was established in 1992, is part of local Videolux Holding - one of the leading specialty retailers of consumer electronics, home office products, entertainment software, appliances and related services in Bulgaria, which operates the Technopolis store chain. Videolox EOOD is engaged in the wholesale distribution and import of consumer electronics and household appliances. The imported goods are sold in the Technopolis retail chain, which is operated by Technopolis Bulgaria EAD.
Since 1995, Videolux is the exclusive distributor of Japanese electronics maker JVC for Bulgaria. In 1998, the firm became exclusive distributor of the consumer electronics products of South Korea's LG Electronics Inc. Videolux is also an official importer and distributor of products of brands including Candy, Hoover, Beko, Taurus, Sang and Haier air conditioning systems. The company is also an official importer of Sony, Philips, Canon, Indesit, Ariston, AEG, Electrolux and Zanussi.
