Axxion S.A., formerly known as Industrias Coia S.A., is a company located in Santiago, Chile. It was originally established as "Compañía de Industrias y Almacenes S.A. COIA" and later changed its name to "Compañía de Industrias y Azúcar COIA" in 1939. On August 28, 1964, the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders decided to modify the company's name to "Industrias COIA S.A." The company initially operated in the oil, sugar, and paint industries. In 1960, it expanded its operations to include the production of synthetic resins, polyesters, and adhesives for industrial use, primarily in the paint, varnish, dye, and plastic sectors. Axxion S.A. achieved significant market participation in all of these industrial activities.
