Caja de Compensacion Familiar COMFENALCO ANTIOQUIA is a company located in Medellin, Colombia. It was incorporated on August 30, 1957, following the measures adopted by the Junta Militar de Gobierno and in compliance with Decree 118 of 1957. The company was created by the Federación Nacional de Comerciantes - FENALCO - Seccional Antioquia, with the purpose of providing family compensation. At the founding meeting, representatives from 41 companies in the department attended. These companies had more than 200 employees each, who were entitled to family subsidies. Some of the organizations present at the meeting were Fomento Eléctrico Andino Ltda, Almacenes Olarte Vélez, Fotoelectro, Almacén Vulcano, Cacharrería Mundial, Compañía Colombiana de Productos Químicos - Colquímica, Almacén Tía, Almacén Industrial, Almacén Francés, Almacén Tania, Tuercas y Tornillos, and Almacén Caravana.
