Konesko Ltd. was founded in the end of 1992. Based on Estonian capital, Konesko's primary activity was stator winding for electric motors.
At the beginning the production took place in Tallinn, but in 1998 former Koeru Repair Factory for Cars was bought in Järvamaa. Production of details made of sheet-metal was started.
In 1998 all economic activities were concentrated to Koeru factory. For winding, semi-automatic benches were used, also stator varnishing and motor assembling was started. In 2001 making of electric components was started.
Considerable expansion of Konesko started in 2003, when long-time partner KCI Konecranes OY decided to end motor manufacturing in Finland and transfer it completely to Estonia. From the end of 2003 KCI Konecranes OY owns 19% of Konesko's shares.
