Arabia Cotton Ginning Company (ACGC) is a shareholding company established in 1963 and listed in the Egyptian Stock Exchange in 1995. Its activities underwent several stages of development from a mere cotton ginning company to a diversified holding. In 2006 the company formed a joint-venture with Amwal Al Khaleej, called Amwal Al Arabiya, in order to develop an integrated textile group. The group engaged in acquisitions, business expansion and further synergies. In 2007 Amwal Al Arabia swapped its shares into ACGC. ACGC continued its core business activities in textile and real estate projects. Currently, it is engaged in farming and trading with cotton, seeds and edibles, as well as manufacture of fertilizers and pesticides, natural and artificial fibers and yarns.
