The Commercial International Bank (CIB) was incorporated in 1975 by as a joint stock company owned by the National Bank of Egypt (51%) and the Chase Manhattan Bank (49%) under its original name Chase National Bank of Egypt. In 1987, the bank changed its name to Commercial International Bank (Egypt) S.A.E. CIB provides financial products to institutions, larges, small, and medium companies. The bank also provides various portfolio and assets management, treasury and direct investment services.
