Ammerland Hungary is a subsidiary of the Molkerei Ammerland eG. A dairy cooperative located in north west Germany with over 2200 farmer member-owners. Molkerei Ammerland eG owns a state of the art cheese/butter plant and a fresh dairy products plant. Molkerei Ammerland eG collects more than 1 billion kilos of milk per year and produces semi hard cheeses, butter, whey powders and liquid consumer and industrial dairy products. Milk intake is estimated to grow by 400 million kg to 1.5 billion kg by 2015. Plant capacities will be increased through further investments .
