DAKoV Ltd. (DAKOV Dabas es Kornyeke Vizugyi Kft.) is a municipally owned public-utility company in Hungary providing drinking water production, treatment and supply, as well as sewerage and wastewater treatment services. The company supplies potable water across 47 settlements through 37 water utility systems and an approximately 1,697 km drinking water network, supported by storage infrastructure including hydrotowers and ground-level reservoirs, and operates water abstraction from local groundwater sources with multiple production sites and significant daily capacity. Water treatment includes disinfection and the removal of iron, manganese, ammonia and arsenic where required. DAKoV also provides wastewater collection and treatment across 58 settlements via 43 utility systems and an approximately 2,029 km sewer network, operating multiple wastewater treatment plants with mechanical and biological processes and, where applicable, tertiary treatment; sludge handling is managed through solutions such as composting and other disposal routes. In addition to core utility operations, the company delivers related infrastructure services including 24/7 fault response, maintenance, refurbishment, network operations management, geodetic tasks, and construction works focused on water treatment systems and water and sewer pipeline construction and rehabilitation, primarily for municipal clients, supported by in-house technical teams and a laboratory facility at its Dabas site.
