Margarine Company Public Joint Stock (Iran)

The main activity of the company ismargarine making and preparation of salad oil and also preparation of animal feed and establishment of cotton cleaning and soap making factory and production of food products such as production of animal and vegetable oils and export and import and also take any action Authorized commercial operations within the scope of the company that are authorized by national law.
The Company was established as a Public Joint Stock company on 2 January 1954.
On 10 January 1954 the Company was registered under a registration number 4204.
On 28 November 1971 the Company changed its legal form from a Public joint stock Company to be a Private joint stock Company.
On 8 February 1975 the Company changed its legal form to be a Public joint stock Company again.
The company was changed the financial year end from 20/7 to 20/3 on 6 March 1993.
The company was changed again the financial year end from 20/3 to 20/12 on 14 July 2005.
On 21 March 1993 the Company was listed in Tehran Stock Exchange.
In 1992, more than 63 of the share os Margrine Company was transfered to Behshahr Industeries Development Holding. Since then Margrine Company was not affiliated to national Iranian Industries Organization anymore and the directors selected in general assemblies of the company based on the commerce act adm19inistrated this company. Company decided to increase its prices in 1993 and increased its daily production capactiy from 200 tons to 400 tons in 1997 and in the second stage ,increased the daily production capactiy of the company to 1000 tons in 2000.
The Company is the first herbaceous oil in Iran known by various brands among the people such as Khorous, Aftab Aftab Talaei. This company was established in Jan. 1954 with a daily capacity of refining 8 tons herbaceous oil and now it can be the guest of the most of families and various industries of the country with a production capacity of 1000 tons per day.
This complex always tries to design and produce products having the better quality based on the needs of the customers. Now 38 various oil products are produced in this company in two parts of industry (B2B) and household consumptions (B2C). This oil is produced based on the regulations of Iranian Industrial Researches and Standard Institute and Drug Food Deputy Office of Ministry of Health as well as international Standards such as CODEX from SGS Company in Swiss and for this reason the margarine products can be observed in market of the most countries of Middle East and even European countries.
