Kuwait Investment Company was incorporated in 1961 and it is the first Kuwaiti company focused on investment activities in Kuwait and the GCC countries. The company invests in real estate projects, shares and securities. The company also owns the rights of the industrial properties such as patents, properties, industrial trademarks, industrial fees or other rights and leases them to other companies. The company operates five local, two regional and five international funds as well and provides investment brokerage services.
