The Company operates in the real estate sector. The Company is engaged in purchase, sale, lease, rent and development of property; investment in private and public real estate projects, and investment in equities and bonds, as well as in companies with similar activities. URC has two wholly owned subsidiaries, namely Ghazwa Real Estate Company KSCC, and Ghazwa Company for Mechanical and Electrical Works KSCC, which is involved in installing, testing and commissioning of pumping, drainage, fire-fighting, irrigation, and swimming pool systems.
The Company was established in the State of Kuwait on 12th, November 1975 as Kuwaiti Shareholdin Closed Company.
The Company is listed on Kuwait Stock Exchange on 12 June 1999.
The Company was delisted from Kuwait Stock Exchange on 1 January 2015. The reason to delist is voluntary delisting.
The Company listed again on Kuwait Stock Market-OTC market on 18 November 2018.
