LLP "JV" Betpak Dala "was established on the basis of the mine" Akdala "(put into pilot operation in 2001), in March 2004 with the aim of commercial production and to continue work on further exploration of minerals. In September 2005 the company received rights for subsoil use, exploration and mining of uranium in the mine "Yuzhniy Inkai" (South Inkai). The mine "Yuzhniy Inkai" was launched in pilot operation in November 2007. "Akdala" was the first mine in the world, which in 2006 produced thousand tons of uranium with in-situ leaching. Among mining enterprises JSC "NAC" Kazatomprom " was the first to get batch of uranium peroxide using hydrogen peroxide as a reagent-precipitant. It happened in 2008 at " Akdala " mine
