Societe De Promotion Pharmaceutique Du Maghreb, or Promopharm, is a Moroccan pharmaceutical company, set up in Settat in 1947. It is engaged in the production, marketing, import and export of human medicines, dermapharmaceuticals and cosmetics, as well as to the related activities in industrial production, real estate, financial and commercial sectors. The company also manufactures generic products of known brands, focusing on chronic diseases. Promopharm has established partnership with major international medicine producers and is an exclusive importer of their licensed products for Morocco. The dermopharmaceuticals and products for the cosmetic industry are delivered to both national and international laboratories, especially in Algiers and some other countries of the Sun-Saharan Africa. The company was known as Lafrabiol Co. until 1985.
