1973 :The company was incorporated in 1973 under the laws of the Republic of The Marshall Islands as Viking Star Shipping Incorporated.
1993: The Company Changed it s name from Viking Star Shipping Incorporated to Teekay Shipping Corporation on September 14, 1993.
2007: The company has changed its name again from Teekay Shipping Corporation to Teekay Corporation on June 8, 2007.
1995: The Company was listed in New York Stock Exchange on July 20, 1995.
2024 : The Company was domesticated from the Republic of the Marshall Islands and continued as a Bermuda exempted company (the Company, Teekay or Teekay (Bermuda)), subject to the Companies Act 1981 of Bermuda (the Bermuda Companies Act) and other laws of Bermuda, and changed its name from “Teekay Corporation” to “Teekay Corporation Ltd on October 1, 2024.
