Coca-Cola FEMSA, S.A.B. de C.V., founded in 1979 and headquartered in Mexico City, is the largest Coca-Cola bottler in the world by sales volume, operating across nine Latin American countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Uruguay. The company is a publicly traded entity listed on both the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV: KOF) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: KOF). It is 47.8% owned by FEMSA, 27.8% by The Coca-Cola Company, and the remaining shares are publicly held. Coca-Cola FEMSA produces, markets, sells, and distributes a portfolio of 134 beverage brands to over 276 million consumers through 2.2 million points of sale and 56 bottling plants. Its product range includes carbonated soft drinks, water, juices, dairy, coffee, tea, sports and energy drinks, and plant-based beverages, as well as alcoholic beverages like Topo Chico Hard Seltzer, Heineken, and Campari, and confectionery under brands like Perfetti and Monster Energy. Coca-Cola FEMSA began as a joint venture between FEMSA and The Coca-Cola Company in 1991, expanding internationally through acquisitions such as Panamco (2003), Jugos del Valle (2007), and VONPAR (2016). It also operated in the Philippines until 2018. FEMSA has several divisions including FEMSA Insumos Estrategicos: FEMSA Logistica (distribution) and FEMSA Empaques (packaging). Coca-Cola FEMSA has been listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange since 1993.
