Grupo Gigante, S.A.B. de C.V., founded in 1962 by Ángel Losada Gómez and headquartered in Mexico City, is a diversified Mexican holding company operating in retail, restaurants, real estate, and distribution across Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia, and Chile. The company is publicly traded on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV: GIGANTE) and employs over 26,000 people. Its business segments include specialty retail (notably Office Depot, Home Store, and Petco), restaurants (such as Toks, Beer Factory, Restaurantes California, Panda Express, and Cup Stop), and real estate development through Gigante Grupo Inmobiliario, which manages shopping malls, corporate buildings, and housing projects.
