In december 2004 Ixe and SF Autouno constituted Ixe Sofol in order to increase their market share in the automotive market. Ixe used to have 60% of the shareholders' equity of the company. Also in 2004, Ixe Sofol was incorporated to the financial group. In the late 2006 the stockholders decided to modify the name of the company to Ixe Equipamiento and change its legal form to a non bank-bank. In 2007 SFAutouno withdraw its share in Ixe Equipamiento through an equity reduction, leaving all the shares to Ixe. In the same year, Ixe Equipamiento sold its credit portfolio to Ixe Automotriz. In 2008 it acquired the name Ixe Soluciones and established as main objective the management and recovery of its credit portfolio.
