It is located southeast of the city of Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz. Began operations in 1980, covering an area of 305 hectares approximately, having a closeness with the Shipper Central Hawks and the Maritime Terminal, so it is considered among the largest facility of its kind in Latin America.
It operates 15 plants, led to a chain of ethylene derivatives and other aromatics, the main products obtained as Low Density Polyethylene, Styrene, ethylene oxide, benzene, toluene, xylene, ortho-xylene, xylenes, among others, those who are used for the procurement of end products such as paints, detergents, cosmetics, telephones, bags, toys, pharmaceuticals, tapes, etc.
In 2000 it obtained certification under ISO 14001:1996 and ISO 9001:2000
