As rotavators developed world-wide popularity for seed preparation, Howard Malaysia was founded as a trading company in 1962 importing Howard machinery from England for the Southeast Asian farmers. The company was converted in 1976 to a manufacturing company in joint-venture ownership between HOWARD Group and Malaysian National Farmers Association. HOWARD Malaysia has diversified its product line over the years to offer other solutions for the palm oil plantations, turf care and road maintenance, besides its traditional soil preparation implements for paddy farmers.
