2004: The Company was established under Company Act, 2063 on 20 January , 2004 as private limited company.
2009:The company converted to public limited company with intention to increase and facilitate the participation of general public in the hydro development projects and changed it s name from Barun Hydropowe Development Company PVT LTD to Barun Hydropower Company LTD On 15 July 2009. .
2011: The Company commenced it s commercial operation In 6 August 2011.
2015: The Company Listed on Nepal Stock Exchange with trading symbol BARUN In 14 October 2015.
