Kalika Power Company Ltd. (Nepal)

The main objective of the company is hydroelectricity generation. Promoters hold majority ownership with 70 shareholding. Remaining 30 shareholding is from general public including 10 equity ownership of project affected local people.
KPCL owns and operates a power plant with 6.4 MW installed capacity which is located in Gorkha District of western Nepal. It sells electricity to NEA at rates agreed upon in the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

Our vision is promote, develop/acquire renewable energy projects in an efficient, responsible and sustainable manner to optimize stakeholders value. Leveraging its knowledge capital, technical and management expertise by providing renovation amp; modernization to existing renewable energy projects.
Mission:
Our mission to work closely with government agency to generate power as well as employment among the economically among the economically backward sections in remote areas: to illuminate the homes and lives of those who still live in darkness.
History:
2008:The Company was incorporated on 7th March, 2008 as Daraudi Kalika Hydro Private Limited.
2015: The Company converted into public limited company on 18th October 2015 to facilitate public participation and and subsequently changed it s name to KALIKA POWER COMPANY LIMITED.
2018:The Company was listed on Nepal Stock Exchange in 11 October 2018.
