The Company s objective is to generate and sell hydroelectricity to nepal electricity authority.
The Company has developed 5 MW Mailun Khola Hydropower Project in Rasuwa district and its operation is for a period of 25 years under a Construction Generation License issued by prevalent HMG of Nepal on the basis of a power purchase agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority.

2014: The Company was converted into a public company on 22 August 2014 as Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJVCL) with Registration No.: 125838/071/072.
2021:The Company was listed in Nepal Stock Exchange on September 21, 2021.
