1995: The Company was incorporated on Jan 31st, 1995.
1997: The Company was operated as general insurance company after obtaining license from Insurance Board of Nepal on March 16, 1997 under the Insurance Act 2079.
2001: The Company was quoted on Nepal Stock Exchange in 2001.
2023: Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited and Lumbini General Insurance Company Limited underwent a merger at a swap ratio of 100:80 and commenced the operation under the uni ed banner of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (SALICO) on March 13, 2023.
