The Company is established to develop hydropower and aims to generate and supply energy from various sources, mainly by hydropower.
Vision Mission:
With an aim to play a significant role in the development of this high-potential hydropower sector in the country, identification potential location and evaluate the necessary strengths and resources to develop hydropower contributing independence of power in the country.
Hydropower is a formidable industry and is a sustainable source of renewable energy without having any environmental hazards like those of the hydrocarbon based fuels. Our country is one of the richest in the world in terms of the total proportion of potential energy production from hydropower. With more than six thousand small, medium and large rivers running from the Himalayas and high mountains of the country, hydropower can play a similar role in Nepal's economy as petroleum plays in gulf countries. Deep involvement of private entrepreneurship is of utmost importance to reap full benefit of this natural gift to the country and thereby take country out of dependence on expensive fossil fuel for much of its energy supply.

History:
2014: The Company is a private limited company incorporated on 13th Oct, 2014.
2017: The Company was converted into public company on 2nd july, 2017.
2023:The Company is listed on Nepal Stock Exchange on 20th March, 2023.
