The Universidad de San Martín de Porres, located in Lima, was founded on May 17, 1962, by RP Vicente Sánchez Valer, based on the principles of philosophy and theology. Over time, the university incorporated programs in Accounting, Economics, Administration, Law, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, and the Institutes of Industrial Relations and Cooperativism. The university also built facilities for the faculties of Communication Sciences, Obstetrics and Dentistry, Medicine, Engineering and Architecture, and Law and Political Science. Additionally, it has the Institutes of Government and Public Management, Art, and Quality of Education.
