Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited is a Pakistani producer of stearic acid and distilled fatty acids. It was established in 1994 and is based in the region of Sheikhpura in Punjab. It is also one the country’s largest producers of glycerine. The company’s annual production is estimated at 24,000 tons of the three main products. Most of the stearic acid is supplied to manufacturers of bicycle tyres and tubes while the distilled fatty acids are supplied to the leading soap manufacturers in the country. The company has an in-house laboratory and has developed most of its products through local R&D.
