ICPE - Research Institute for Electrical was established in August 5, 1950. ICPE is a complex structure that covers a wide range of innovative topics, connected by electric profile: special electrical machines, electrical equipment for passive house energy efficient systems for producing energy from renewable sources, wind power generators small (up to 10 kW). In 1992 ICPE becomes a joint stock company. Also in 1992 ICPE drawn from eight sections which then become companies namely: ICPE-Actel, ICPE-SAERP, ICPE-electrostatics, ICPE-ECOENERG, ICPE-ME, ICPE-ELECTROCOND Technologies, ICPE-Trafil, Eurotest.
