Mondelez Romania SA (formerly known as Kraft Foods Romania) has been present on the local market since 1994, when Kraft Foods International acquired the confectionery maker Poiana Produse Zaharoase factory in Brasov. Kraft Foods Romania, manufacturer of coffee, chocolate and biscuits, changed the name from April, 2013, due to the overall strategy of the group to which it belongs. Mondelez Romania is a subsidiary of Mondelēz International Inc.
