JSC "Chernigovets" is a company for extraction of high quality thermal and coking coal by opencast methods. It is included in the holding company "Siberian Business Union." The section "Chernigov" Production Association "Kemerovougol" was commissioned in 1965. In 1988, the state-owned enterprise section of "Chernihiv" was transformed into a lease and a commercial section of the state enterprise "Chernihiv", on the basis of which in 1991 JSC "Chernigovets" was established. In 1998 JSC "Chernigovets" renamed the company "Chernigovets." The main products of JSC "Chernigovets" are: product SSMSSH coal brands, AVS, SSKO; raw coal SSR.
