Slovenia-based automotive components manufacturer Cimos d.d. began operations in 1959 as a joint venture between three Slovenian companies - Tomos, Iskra, and Citroen.Cimos d.d. became operationally independent in 1972, and was incorporated as a public limited company in 1996.In 2010 Cimos d.d. had some 82% of its sales revenue generated by its automotive division as the company supplied over 30 automotive manufacturers and suppliers throughout Europe.In addition to the automotive industry Cimos d.d. is also active in the energy sector, as well as in agricultural mechanization and machine building and tooling.As of the end of 2010 the company had 29 subsidiaries located in nine countries across Europe.
