Dezelna banka Slovenije d.d. was set up in 1990 under the name Slovenska zadruzna kmetijska banka d.d. with a mission to complement the financial system in the field of agriculture, cooperatives and agro-food processing industry.
In 2004 the Slovenia's Association of Savings and Loan Undertakings acquired the bank’s assets and liabilities and the bank was renamed to Dezelna banka Slovenije d.d. (DBS d.d.)
The lender offers a diverse range of banking and other financial products, such as leasing, trade in mutual fund units and insurance policies, factoring and real estate business.
DBS d.d. attends its clients through a network of over 80 branches nationwide.
