Plama-pur d. d. began operations in 1955 as a plastics manufacturer under the name Plama. In 1991 Plama transformed into four limited liability companies. One of them, Poliuretani-plama, d.o.o., is the forerunner of the present company, which was renamed to Plama-pur d. d. in 1997.
The main product of Plama-pur d. d. is flexible polyurethane foam. The company’s output is mainly used in the automotive industry, but also in upholstered furniture and mattresses, building and construction, shoe production, as well as the packaging and consumption goods industries.
Plama-pur d. d. sells over half of its products to the markets in the European Union.
The company’s shares are traded on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) since December 6, 1999.
