Confal a. s. is a metallurgical company specialised in aluminium recycling and the production of secondary aluminium alloys and refining mixtures for the steel industry. It is the largest aluminium recycler in Slovakia and a recognised European producer of high quality aluminium casting alloys for foundries. Nearly all aluminium input used in its production consists of secondary raw material derived from scrap such as production waste, dross, profiles, packaging and demolition scrap, which is remelted in rotary furnaces using advanced, environmentally oriented technologies. The company supplies a wide range of aluminium alloys and metallurgical preparations tailored to customer specifications for demanding applications, especially in the automotive sector and other metalworking industries, and distributes its products to customers in Slovakia and throughout Europe.
