GreenCoop supplies large retail chains and wholesale partners in Slovakia and neighbouring countries under its own product brands, including the well-known Vesela paradajka line of tomatoes, and in private-label formats. The cooperative strongly emphasizes environmentally responsible production: its greenhouses are heated primarily by geothermal energy, it captures rainwater for irrigation and applies biological plant protection instead of synthetic pesticides, significantly reducing its carbon footprint compared with conventional greenhouse producers of similar size. Strategically, GreenCoop focuses on stable, local and regional supply of fresh vegetables with a low environmental impact and consistent quality, leveraging joint purchasing, centralized marketing and shared technology among its members. Key assets include the network of geothermal-heated greenhouses, the Vesela paradajka brand recognised on the Slovak market, and long-term relationships with food retailers in Central Europe.
