Epoch Chemtronics Corp. was founded in 1997 and was listed on Emerging Stock Market in August 2008. Epoch employs approximately 1,000 people worldwide including headquarter in Taiwan, two production plants located at Suzhou, and Xiamen in China. It now has business offices in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok. Epoch Chemtronic Corp. is principally engaged in the design, manufacture and distribution of light guide plates and backlight modules. The company is also involved in the processing of precision optic components. Its products are mainly applied in mobile phones, digital cameras, digital video cameras, automobile navigation systems, electronic dictionaries, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and industrial instruments, among others. The company distributes its products in the domestic markets and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia.
