DSG Technology, Inc. was set up in July 2, 1997, engaging in the planning, design and maintenance of computer network system equipments and the research and development, manufacturing, processing and assembling of communications equipments and peripheral equipments and parts. In February 1989, it started the mass-production of GATEWAY. In May 1999, it started the mass-production of IPSTAR. In November 1999, it started the mass-production of INTERSTAR. In November 1999, the company decided on the purchasing of assets and inventories from Texaco Inc. In March 2000 it obtained approval of public offering by Securities and Futures Commission Ministry of Finance. In October 2000, its products obtained ISO9002 certification and started mass-production of INTERPHONE. In July 2001 it launched IP1000. In February 2002 it obtained the second grade license for telecommunications business by DGT.
