Ta Jiang Co., Ltd., formerly known as Ta Jiang Textile Co., Ltd., was founded in April 1978 and made public offering in 1990. Approved by Securities and Exchange Commission, Ministry of Finance, the company was listed officially on Taiwan Stock Exchange in January 1993. Currently the company is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of textile products. The textile products include blended yarns, specialty yarns and figured cloths, which are mainly used in the manufacturing of casual clothes, sports clothes and fitness clothes, among others. The company is also involved in the construction of commercial and residential buildings. It distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including Southeast Asia. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the company obtained approximately 67% and 32% of its total revenue from its textile business and construction business, respectively.
