Damai is also Taiwan's first manufactory producing polyimide film, which is mainly used in soft broad and insulation board industries. Company stock issued public offering in September 2008. It began to trade as Emerging Stock at GreTai Securities Market at 16th September 2010.Global PI film market is oligopoly. And the world's leading manufacturers of PI film are DuPont (DuPont), Zhong Yuan Chemical (Kaneka), and Ube (Ube) .And the chemical product value of Kaneka and DuPont accounts for 70 percent of that of the whole world. 80percent Technology products of Taimide are supplied for FPC industry, 20% for insulation industry. More than half products are domestic-based. And the proportion has continued to rise. Major customer is Taiflex Scientific Co., Ltd.
