On February 11, 1998 Rongrui Biotechnology Co.,Ltd. was established. In July 1999 it carried out the research on EV71 monoclonal antibody reagents. In June 2001 the company held the enterovirus 71 test kit product launch and the product was put into market. In July the company went public. In August the company began the research on dengue virus rapid test kits. In November it won the 2001 National Biotechnology and Medical Care Quality Award. In January 2002,it passed the ISO9001:2000 quality system certification. In March, it obtained the overseas industry experts funding and developed the rapid tuberculosis test kits. In October it obtained Ministry of Economic Affairs Industrial Technology Development Project "CD micro fluid bisector development plan" and began the research on CD fluid bisector. In December it won the SBIR blue-chip companies Lingual National Science and Technology Award.
