The company became the world's largest GaAs Factory, after combined with global United Telecommunications in 2004. It began to trade as Emerging Stock at GreTai Securities Market in October 2009. GaAs industry faces the challenge of oversupply. The products are mainly used in RF communication devices, including power amplifier (PA) and RF switch devices (RFSwitch).
