Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (CiplaQCIL) was incorporated on 10 June 2005 as a joint venture. The company owns a pharmaceutical plant at Luzira Industrial Park. CiplaQCIL continually strives to produce quality, affordable medicines that will meet the demands of the increasing African population. In addition to producing medicine to treat malaria, HIV and Hepatitis B, CiplaQCIL is exploring the production of medicine to manage the surge of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and cancer.
