The Company is a long term, active investment company, building a portfolio of investments primarily in Zimbabwe. Its key objective is building a portfolio of companies that are well-positioned to benefit from Zimbabwe's economic growth and from formalization and modernization of Zimbabwe's economy.
The Company will be a long term active investment company, building a portfolio of investments primarily in Zimbabwe, which may benefit from any radical future improvement of the Zimbabwean economy over the longer term. The Company may also make investments in business outside Zimbabwe with operations within Zimbabwe and in that part of Mozambique known as the Beira Corridor, which links Zimbabwe to the coast.
The Company will target investments which may benefit from a significant improvement in the Zimbabwean economy, with a focus on sectors with a potential for rapid recovery.
The Company's investment objective is to provide Shareholders with long term capital appreciation through the investment of its capital in Zimbabwe and Beira Corridor.

2007
The Company was incorporated on 25 October 2007 in the Isle of Man and commenced trading on AIM of the London Stock Exchange on 11 December 2007 under ticker name LZM .
2008
The Company announces that its accounting reference date has been changed from 30 November to 31 August. Accordingly the Company has published its financial statements for the 10 month period ending 31August 2008.
2010
On 27th May 2010, the company has entered into an agreement with Safaricom, Kenya s largest telecoms operator, which enables Safaricom to provide email and online chat access via mobile phones available to over 15 million people in Kenya.
2011
The Company has changed its functional currency from Pounds Sterling to United States Dollars as at 1 September 2011.On 4 October 2011, the Company announced that it had completed an agreement to dispose of its 80 holding in Aldeamento Turistico de Macuti SARL, a company with a long lease on a prospective coastal development site in Beira, Mozambique, as part of LonZim's growing focus on the economic opportunities within Zimbabwe.
2012
The Company has changed its name to Cambria Africa Plc with effective on 28 February 2012. Its ticker name also changed to CMB . On 11 December 2012, the Company announced that it has appointed Paul Heber, as a consultant to the Company and that Paul will be stepping down from his current position as a non-executive director.
2015
The company was delisted in London Stock Exchange with effect 23rd January 2015.Following the next announcement on 16th February 2015, The Company announces that it no longer intends to seek Shareholders approval for the Delisting as it has entered into a conditional share subscription agreement with Ventures Africa Ltd (the SSA ). Ventures Africa Ltd wishes Cambria to maintain its quotation on AIM. The Company is still listing in LSE (CMB) release financial report.
2021
The Company has been temporary suspended of trading on AIM effective from 1st June 2021.
The Company has been restored to trading on AIM effective from 17 June 2021.
2024
The Company has listed in JP Jenkins under ticker code CMB with effect from 22 October 2024.
