The platform enables banking data access, account validation, account-to-account payments, and treasury management from a single integration point. Founded in 2018, it already connects over 1,200 financial institutions across 11 Latin American countries, serving major banks such as Santander, Citi, and JP Morgan. The company raised a Series A funding round of approximately USD 13 million, backed by Antler Elevate, PayPal Ventures, Samsung Next, DN Capital, Cometa, and Magma Partners. Prometeo has achieved tenfold revenue growth in recent years and is expanding into markets such as Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and the U.S. Its core value proposition is enabling businesses to access Latin America’s financial system in a simple, efficient, and scalable way through a single API.
